چکیده
Abstract Introduction PSMA PET-CT (PSMA) is a relatively new development in PCa imaging. We report the role and impact of management both primary recurrent since our service's inception January 2020. Method A retrospective analysis database was conducted. All patients underwent conventional imaging (CI) [CT/MRI & Bone scan] as well. Indications for were: Data collected included demographics, PSA, ISUP grade, D'Amico risk classification, TNM staging. are expressed median (range) analysed using SPSS v25. Results Overall, 454 scans were reviewed; 175 (38.5%) 279 (61.5%) offered to evaluate disease, respectively. On reassessment with PSMA, 54.2% all showed nodal or metastatic involvement that led re-staging. More specifically, 56%% cases 77.1% had their stage, consequentially, plan modified. ISUP, cT3 D’Amico classification not associated upstaging (p >0.05). there poor agreement between CI when evaluating (k = 0.216, p <0.005) metastases (k= 0.171, p<0.005) staging either disease. Conclusions superior significantly alters these patients. It should be first line (high-risk) prior salvage therapy.
